Þórbergssetur, The Writers Museum, is located between Skaftafell Park and Höfn. The museum was built in memory of author Þórbergur Þórðarson in 2006. Inside are exhibits that tell the story of Þórbergurs life (1888-1974) and his artistic vocation, as well as a display of the work by other famous Icelandic writers.
